So, we have watched a movie on Warren Buffet. He is a pretty interesting person. What is your impression of this guy? Write a blog post that tells me your opinion of him and his business practices. Is he just amazing, or lucky....? What would be a question that you would like to ask him?
Warren Buffet is an interesting person considering he doesn’t flaunt his money. My first impression of Mr. Buffet was he is very quirky. He is just a normal person who has over a billion dollars. He is a plain guy with a plain business office space with a very basic website. Being a billionaire, you would think that he would put more effort into making his website look nice. Warren raised his kids to have the mindset that to get money, you have to work for it to earn it. His kids are not getting an inheritance when he dies, all of his money is going to charity. I personally believe that he is just a lucky man. He just invested his money into the right companies at the right time. It doesn’t happen to everyone usually. He now has a theory on what companies are going to be good and when to invest in them. Him and his partner have been buying shares of companies for 40 to 50 years now so they know what they are doing. Mr. Buffet has luck on his side when it comes to investments and money. Being a billionaire, he is able to make risky decisions because he is in it for the long run not a short time. The only time he is losing money is when he sells his shares of companies. If I could ask Warren a question it would be why and when did he decide to invest in the stock market? Kaitlyn
My impression of Warren Buffet would be that although a few qualities to him are considerably odd, like the relationship that he had between his wife, as well as his "mistress" respectably. I would actually consider him to also be somewhat of a normal person as well. Aside from the fact that he is a billionaire, a good majority of his life would be along the lines of "normal". He grew up in a normal home, as a normal child, and had dreams and aspirations like everyone else, albeit his dream of being a millionaire probably wasn't along the lines of everyone else's. Buffet took a risk when he went to achieve the said dream, and doing so landed him in a good position. Unlike your stereotypical rich person, he was "smart" and "reasonable" with his money. He didn't spend it all on a whim on fancy items, nor did he give his children an "easy" ride through life by supplying them with everything they needed. Buffet knew that they had to work for their earnings, just like he did, and they seem to respect his choices with not spoiling them. Warren Buffet is your fairly typical person who just knows how to handle his money with the assistance of luck on his side, both of which have helped him climb to the top as a billionaire. Katrina
My impression on warren buffet is that he is a geek. The reason I think he is a geek is because of the way he acts and how he became a billionaire. At the same time I think he is pretty cool because of how he acts and I wish I could read stocks like he can. Buffet also doesn’t eat anything healthy he doesn’t drink any water just soda and I think he is crazy for that. That is my impression on buffet he is pretty cool and crazy at the same time.
I think Warren Buffet is amazing because he has been able to become a billionaire just off of reading stocks. He is a almost richer then bill gate and that is saying something. He is continuing to get richer everyday because he is a genius when it comes to reading stocks. I would be really good at reading stocks to if I did nothing all day but read stocks. I think Warren Buffet is pretty amazing because he has defied odds when everybody thought he couldn’t today he is almost the richest man in the world. Buffet when you hear that name what do you think about.
Warren Buffet is a very interesting man indeed. He started young delivering papers to a rich neighborhood and made a good amount of money. Then he started businesses, like his used golf ball business, and was making more money then his teachers. I would say he was not lucky. Warren worked hard and set goals, and he reached those goals. One goal he set and told everyone was that he was going to be a millionaire by the time he was 30; he became a billionaire at age 31. Warren is an idol in the stock market; any company he buys everyone else wants to buy shares of that company also. He is also not a rabbit in the stock market he is a turtle and wins the race years down the road. One question I would ask Mr. Buffet is what company he is planning on buying next? AB
When I first saw Mr. Buffet, I didn't think that he looked like a type of man that would be a billionaire. He looks like a normal, kind of weird looking, plain guy who is living his life calmly. An odd thing about him though was his relationship with his wife. I don't understand how she let another woman live with him while her and Warren were still married, even though she was away on her singing career. One interesting thing about him is that he has good patience with his money. When he was young he was wanting to find multiple ways for him to earn money. He started with selling newspapers and has gained a lot since then. I think he was very lucky with the time that he purchased stocks, and how the company was doing when he bought their stocks. If the company, that Mr. Buffett bough stocks from, would have done worse than they actually did, I don't think Warren Buffett would be where he is right now with the amount of money he has. One question I would like to ask him is what would he do if the stocks would drop down dramatically? Would he sell them before it was too late, or keep them?
I think the way Warren Buffet lives his life is very interesting. Even though he has a lot of money, he doesn’t show it. Warren acts like everyone else does and that is what makes him really unique. One thing I find interesting about him is that he is not leaving any of his money to his kids. Most rich people leave all of their money to their kids or relatives. I believe he is also very generous because he is giving his money to charity and does not even ask to have his name mentioned. I don’t think that Warren is just lucky, he is just really good at what he does. He understands what will make him money and what will not. Its not just like he randomly chooses what stocks he is going to purchase, he looks at certain things to ensure he is choosing the right ones. A question I would ask Warren Buffet is if he thought from a young age he would be this rich? H.H.
Warren Buffet seems to be a very humble man. He does not flash his wealth, and seems to believe he is just an average man. If I saw him in public, I would not think of him as anything more than an old man. If I was looking for his main office, or trying to find his house, only knowing about his money, I would try to find the most flashy and exciting building or home. I would never expect a man with that much money to live an average life. If I where to ask him a question, I would ask how he stays so average. How can someone with more money than I could ever imagine having, act like a person who has a normal life.
